Youth Day
The Allen County Conservation Club will be hosting a free fishing derby for youth 15 years old and under on Monday, August 19 at 9 a.m. at the Roschman Park pond. The Conservation Club will supply all the bait and fishing poles. Simply show up and have a good time. Prizes will be awarded for the biggest fish caught in each of the following age groups: 6 and under, 7 to 9, 10 to 12 and 13 to 15 year olds.
The Jungle Island Petting Zoo will be open from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Roschman Park.
Poor Jack Amusements is offering a $17 ride wristband from noon to 5 p.m. and a $30 ride wristband from noon to 11 p.m. (weather permitting).
The Allen County Jr. Leaders and D.A.R.E. will be hosting Youth Day Activities at 2 p.m. in the Plaza. Any kids 12 years and under are welcome to attend. Enjoy games and a chance to win a bicycle.

Senior Citizen's Day (Seniors over 60 years admitted free 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
Seniors 60 and over will be admitted free until 6 p.m. at the Allen County Fairgrounds on Tuesday, August 20. Join us at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Gospel Tent for the Golden Age Day Parties where we celebrate and honor you with music, snacks and beverages.

Veteran's Day (Veteran's admitted free between 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.)
On Friday, August 23, we are honoring all military veterans. All veterans will be admitted free until 6:00 p.m. at the Allen County Fairgrounds. Come and enjoy a veteran’s programs at Noon followed by a ham and bean soup, hot dogs and cornbread lunch at 12:30 p.m. in the picnic tent, located behind the Gospel Tent as we say thank you for your service to our country.
Coupon Days at the Fair
Monday, August 19 – $2 off gate admission! 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Wednesday, August 21 – $2 off gate admission! 7 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Thursday, August 22 – receive $2 off gate admission with a canned food item. Food will be donated to the West Ohio Food Bank. Walk in gates only! From 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
