Contemporary Christian Singer Jeremy Camp To Perform in Concert At 2017 Allen County Fair

American contemporary Christian music singer and songwriter, Jeremy Camp, will perform in concert, Sunday, August 20, at 4:30 PM on the main stage at the 2017 Allen County Fair.

Allen County Fair General Manager, Bob Fricke says this will be a change of pace from the traditional Fair concert offerings. “Jeremy Camp is one of the best artists contemporary Christian music has to offer and we were able to partner with Jericho Concerts to bring this music option to the Allen County Fair. This is music the entire family can enjoy”

Camp has released eleven albums, four of them RIAA-certified as Gold, and two live albums. His original music is a mixture of ballads and up-tempo songs with rock influence. Camp has won five GMA Dove Awards, has been nominated for three American Music Awards, and was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album in 2010 for his album, Speaking Louder Than Before.

Camp, who originally hails from Lafayette, Indiana, is the son of a pastor, and is himself, an ordained minister. Much of his early music dealt with the death of his first wife, just months after they were married, and where he believes God has brought him today. He has since remarried and has kids ,but Camp says,  “I always say, ‘It’s a part of my life. It’s not my life.’ It’s not all that I share. But it’s part of what shaped me, and people still go through hard times.” Today Jeremy shares his delight at seeing so many families showing up at his concerts, “To see families worship the Lord together and see the effect that has ... that’s the best thing that I’ve enjoyed”

Ticket prices are $40 for the party pit directly in front of the stage, $25 for general admission seats. Prices do not include a general admission ticket to the Fair, which is required to enter the Fairgrounds. VISA, MasterCard and Discover cards are accepted. Tickets are available online at only.
